Vaddio, a brand of Legrand AV, will introduce new members of its EasyIP ecosystem at ISE 2025 on booth 3N600. The most recent addition is the EasyIP Tx/Rx HDMI Encoder or Decoder, a two-in-one device designed to offer a simple way to add features and functionality to EasyIP environments.
Vaddio says EasyIP Tx/Rx is a single device that can be set to either transmit or receive mode. In transmit mode, EasyIP Tx/Rx converts HDMI signals and analogue audio inputs to EasyIP and Dante streams. In receive mode, Tx/Rx converts EasyIP and Dante signals and delivers them as 1080p HDMI and analogue audio outputs for local viewing and listening.
With support for Dante, analogue, and EasyIP audio routing options, Vaddio says the EasyIP Tx/Rx is designed for video distribution in conferencing, live presentations, and digital signage applications. PoE+ and a compact design also make it suitable for discreet installation behind displays, under tables, or in AV racks.
With the introduction of EasyIP Tx/Rx, EasyIP systems now support multicasting, allowing a single source to be received at any number of destinations, the company says. This feature is designed to simplify content distribution across rooms or displays without the need for costly cabling or distribution amplifiers.
Vaddio will also introduce another new member of the EasyIP ecosystem, the EasyIP Dock. A versatile AV-over-IP switching solution that connects HDMI and USB conferencing devices within the EasyIP ecosystem. This multi-purpose device simplifies video and audio distribution while expanding functionality in modern conferencing spaces.
- Converts HDMI input to EasyIP for flexible video and audio distribution or sends HDMI loop-out for local viewing.
- USB 3.0 streaming with uncompressed video up to 1080p/60 for seamless conferencing.
- Dante, analog, and EasyIP audio support for advanced audio routing and integration.
- PoE+ powered for quick and discreet installation in AV racks, under tables, or behind displays.
- Supports up to four EasyIP video sources with built-in video switching and audio mixing, including acoustic echo cancellation.
Meanwhile, the Vaddio booth will also feature the Venture VideoBAR, an all-in-one video conferencing system designed to enhance remote collaboration. The Venture VideoBAR features an ultra-high-definition 8.51-megapixel, 1/2.5-type CMOS image sensor; a 110-degree wide-angle horizontal field of view; 5x digital zoom; a six-element beamforming microphone array; and a high-fidelity speaker system with built-in digital signal processing. With a microphone pickup range of up to 20ft Vaddio believes the Venture VideoBAR is ideal for small to medium spaces.
The Vaddio Venture VideoBAR features manual PTZ/ePTZ control and tracking technology that offers three modes: Speaker Framing, Participant Framing, and SmartGallery. Utilising advanced facial- and speaker-tracking algorithms, the Venture VideoBAR can focus on and frame a single presenter in the space. It leverages the beamforming microphone array to precisely pinpoint the speaker’s position without adding distracting video motion.
Vaddio says it can also accurately frame a group of coworkers, eliminating wasted space and bringing people front and centre. Additionally, the articulating camera lens with dual motors provides smooth pan and tilt adjustments of up to ±15 degrees, enabling the camera to frame the action in the room without relying on ePTZ cropping abilities.
The plug-and-play device also offers simultaneous USB and HDMI outputs for greater versatility. Users can connect a PC via the USB 3.0 connection, providing clear audio and 4K video for effortless video conferencing.
