The Retail Track kicks off tomorrow (Friday, February 7), joining AI, audio, cybersecurity and sustainability as the megatrends identified as most impacting the AV sector.

The Retail Track sessions begin with Florian Rotberg and Stefan Schieker of invidis Consulting presenting some of coolest, most exciting store concepts opened recently around the world. This will be followed by sessions on customer experience design, retail media, digital signage content and more.
Elsewhere, Shaun Reardon, principal cybersecurity consultant, DNV, will ask ‘How Do You Stop Your Staff Being Your Biggest Cybersecurity Risk?’ and explore cybersecurity challenges in AV systems.
Laura Frank, executive director, frame:work, will lead a panel discussing the complicated legal issues around AI-related content used in creative technologies and explore how AI is disrupting entry-level jobs and the implications long term to the development of creative practice.
In addition, Claudia Feiner, AI, IT, Web3 & gaming consultant, leader and mentor, will look at how AI and sustainability can work together to create future-proof systems that can be used in the AV industry.
Also tomorrow ‘AudioForum: The way we perceive space is the way we experience it’ will offer a fresh perspective on design insights for all professionals, from architects to acoustics experts, sound engineers to XR and AR developers – anyone engaged in the creation of soundscapes. In addition, ‘Owning the Sound’ will see Nick Lythgoe of Solotech joined by Chris Jones and Aaron Holloway-Nahum of Southby Productions to discuss how audio engineers are experimenting with new ways to control sound in outdoor environments.
