Datapath, specialist in engineering visual solutions, has promised to launch a broad range of innovative products for control rooms and video wall content management at ISE 2025. The new products include additions to both its hardware and software portfolio.
As well as new products for its Aetria solution, an integrated platform that ensures scalability and future-proofing for control rooms, Datapath is also showing its latest video wall controllers designed to power multi-source video wall projects of any size.
Aetria now includes an integrated events engine that provides a visual interface to easily create automated workflows that trigger actions based on internal or external events. These workflows are created by joining together ‘nodes’ that are then executed in Aetria. As a simple example, a workflow could be easily created to open a specified layout at a given day and time.
Utilising nodes from any hardware with a suitable application programming interface (API), Datapath’s Aetria is designed to permit independent systems to be driven simultaneously. The company says this can allow for an alarm system, for example, to trigger and place a source or layout file onto a wall. Other uses might include creating user dashboards which display key information and quick access action buttons for operators to use as needed.
Datapath says customers will be able to design systems that can not only monitor and manage content, but also carry out a broad range of actions, from display efficiency to room temperature.
Matthew Tibbitt, senior product manager for Datapath, explained: “Today’s large-scale control rooms are often a hybrid of networked technology from a variety of manufacturers. As well as the control room technology itself, this also includes temperature control, lighting and access security, among others. We have designed these latest developments to work in harmony with these technologies, allowing for automated actions with predetermined criteria for simplified monitoring, control and management. We very much look forward to welcoming customers to our 3.R100 booth at ISE, so they can see the technology in action for themselves.”
Revised VSNMicro 600
Another first for ISE 2025 will be Datapath’s revised VSNMicro 600 video wall controller. With an updated motherboard and processor, the VSN Micro 600 is designed for small to medium sized projects where a compact footprint is a premium requirement.
Fully customisable with a range of options, including hard drive sizes and specifications, memory configurations, software selections, and compatibility with various Intel processors – the VSNMicro 600 now features the optional processor upgrade to Intel’s Core i9, offering 5.10 GHz and a 30Mb cache.
VSNMini 300 Aetria Workstation
Datapath’s mini processor will be getting its first public showing in workstation format in Barcelona. For use either as a personal video wall controller and/or workstation within an Aetria environment or as a standalone video wall controller for small installations, the VSNMini 300 supports the latest standards including 12th Generation Intel Processors (i9, i7, i5) and NVMe (M.2) SSD storage for maximum performance.
Graphics and capture capabilities are provided via three PCIe slots that can be configured as required with Datapath’s Image graphics, Vision capture, and ActiveSQX IP decode/encode cards.
VisionSC-A2 4K capture card
Making its major trade show debut at ISE 2025, this newly engineered capture card extends Datapath’s Aligo AVoIP solution by providing capture of Aligo video streams from an Aetria network, directly into a workstation or video wall controller.
With two 10G channels on each card, the VisionSC-A2 is available now, designed to provide high-density capture that meets the need to display ever-increasing data volumes, whether on a multi-screen operator workstation, or a shared large-scale video wall surface. Each channel can capture two 4K/60 or up to four HD streams, allowing a single VisionSC-A2 card to capture two visually lossless 4K streams, a single 4K and up to four HD streams, or up to eight separate HD streams, the company says.
