How many times have you attended ISE, and in what capacity?
I have attended every ISE since 2022, though Humly has exhibited since 2020. Coming from North America with a background in business development, I’m excited to attend ISE 2026 for the first time as Humly’s head of marketing. Come check out our new brand identity at stand 2W300!
What are you most looking forward to seeing or experiencing at ISE?
We always look forward to seeing how the workplace experience space evolves – new products, smart ideas, and fresh perspectives. And, of course, the conversations: catching up with partners, meeting new people, and hearing directly from end customers about what they need next. I’m also really looking forward to seeing our products showcased at our partners’ booths across the show floor.
Which tech trends do you think will dominate the show floor, and why?
We expect a strong focus on full workplace ecosystems that blend AV, IT, building automation, and sensors – smart spaces instead of isolated systems. Data-driven insights will continue to be key, with occupancy, environmental, and usage data helping teams design better workplaces.
Of course, AI will be everywhere, and security will become an even more interesting topic as more workplace systems become connected and intelligent.
How has the AV industry evolved since the last ISE, and how will it be reflected at the show?
There’s been a clear shift toward connected, flexible, and scalable systems, with more software-defined and cloud-ready solutions that are easier to deploy and manage across global offices. Everything is moving toward seamless, hybrid-friendly experiences, and we expect to see that reflected across the show floor.
Do you have an opinion on the ongoing convergence between AV and broadcast, something ISE is reflecting in both the diversity of its exhibitors and its events programming?
Yes, the convergence is real and accelerating. AV is taking on more complex workflows, while broadcast is adopting the flexibility that AV has built around.
At Humly, we’re focused on making workplaces more intelligent by using sensor data and smart software to manage rooms, desks, visitors, and resources with as little friction as possible. As hybrid work continues to become the new normal, dynamic space utilisation and smooth workflows matter more than ever. It’s interesting to see ISE highlight this shift from multiple angles.
What role does ISE play in your business planning and decision-making for the year ahead?
ISE is a key moment for us. It helps shape parts of our roadmap and is often where we reveal new launches. While we roll out improvements throughout the year, ISE is where we bring the bigger story together for customers and partners.
Are there any particular product categories or solutions you’re prioritising this year, and why?
Yes. We’re investing in solutions that help customers build smarter workplaces with better space utilisation, improved comfort, and stronger workplace intelligence through data.
This includes more advanced sensor integrations with Humly Sense, which we’ll showcase at our interactive booth; more flexible booking options that don’t require additional hardware, helping accommodate different budgets; and an improved visitor experience. All of these features support the hybrid office model and aim to provide teams with a seamless workplace ecosystem.
What will you be launching or showcasing at ISE 2026, and what problem does it solve for your customers?
We’re excited to reveal our new branding and visual identity, which offers a clearer expression of Humly’s Scandinavian simplicity and seamless design.
We’re also launching updates to Humly Sense, including a new integration with Q-Sys and support for additional IoT devices. With the new plugin, Humly devices can trigger different actions through the simple drag-and-drop UI in Q-SYS Designer, making setup smoother and giving users a single platform to manage workplaces and meeting rooms.
We’ll also introduce the next generation of Humly Visitor, available in two versions: Visitor Standard and Visitor Professional. The Professional edition adds features such as pre-registration, enhanced security, flexible check-in flows, and Outlook integration. Finally, we’re launching our QR Code Booking solution – the simplest way to reserve rooms, desks, or shared spaces without installing hardware.
How do you plan to make your booth experience stand out on the busy show floor?
The booth will be highly interactive, with a focus on the products and how seamlessly they work together. Natural materials, thoughtful details, and a clear sense of design will define the space. Our goal is for visitors to walk away feeling that Humly understands both the craft and the impact of workplace solutions.
The booth will also reflect the new Humly identity – calm, simple, and grounded. We want people to experience the workspace ecosystem, not just see it.
What conversations are you hoping to have with visitors to your stand?
We’re always looking for real insights into how people see the industry evolving and how we can continue improving the Humly ecosystem.
We want to talk about making workplaces effortless, supporting hybrid needs, and solving practical challenges for teams. Our mission is to save 100 million productive hours by 2030, and that only happens through strong collaboration with partners and customers.
