Exclusive: Epson Europe responds to ISE 2026

Daniel Rose, product manager for video projection, on building this year's stand around the Infinity installation, a multi-sensory projection experience

How many times have you attended ISE, and in what capacity?
Epson has been attending ISE for over 15 years, and it remains a key date in our calendar. During that time, the show has played an important role in enabling us to showcase major product launches, meet with integrators and partners, and gather valuable feedback that helps shape our product roadmap.

Overall, how was ISE 2026 for you?
ISE 2026 was a very strong show for Epson. Our stand this year was built around the new Infinity installation, a multi-sensory projection experience that showcased Epson’s latest product launches, including the EB-XQ2030B 30,000-lumen 4K projector and our new professional lens range. It was extremely well-received and we had plenty of productive customer meetings, which is always a strong measure of success at the show.

Numbers were up again, so how was footfall for you, and what about the quality of leads? }
Footfall on our stand was exceptionally high from the moment the doors opened on Tuesday right through to Friday afternoon. At peak times it became challenging to engage with everyone who wanted a demonstration. Importantly, both the volume and quality of leads were strong and aligned with our expectations.

Did you engage with the ISE Daily, either by reading it or contributing editorially or promotionally?
Epson shared all relevant product news and announcements with the ISE Daily team to ensure they had full visibility of our launches.

Did you nominate any of your products for the Best of Show awards? If not, do you have a particular reason?
We chose not to participate in the Best of Show awards this year. While we recognise the visibility they can offer, we find that ISE itself generates significant impact and exposure for our new products. For us, the priority is direct engagement with customers and partners on the show floor, where we can demonstrate performance and discuss real-world applications in depth.

Is there anything you’d like to see improved at ISE in 2027?
One area for consideration would be finding ways to incentivise stronger attendance on the Friday. The first two days in particular were extremely busy, almost to the point where it became difficult to engage with everyone at times. Spreading footfall more evenly across the week would help exhibitors and visitors maximise the value of their time at the show.
