CEDIA is set to elevate industry standards with a full-day, hands-on workshop dedicated to audio system measurement and verification at ISE 2026. CEDIA’s latest RP-32 Recommended Practice establishes clear, repeatable procedures for measuring and verifying audio system performance, providing professionals with a framework to verify that completed systems align with both design objectives and client expectations.

Led by industry experts Peter Aylett, Ben Goff, and Adam Pelz, this concentrated session is designed for professionals working within residential settings. Attendees will work directly with measurement tools and software, learning how to gather reliable data, interpret results, and document system performance in a consistent, professional manner. Whether new to the field or a seasoned practitioner looking to adopt a Recommended Practice-based approach, this workshop delivers actionable skills to support excellence in every project.

“The RP-32 workshop is all about closing the circle – taking the promises we make to customers about system performance and using measurement and engineering to verify that we’ve delivered on them. It’s about being able to say, ‘This is what we promised, this is how we engineered it, and here’s the proof that it works as intended.’ That’s the level of professionalism and customer confidence our industry should strive for,” said course leader Peter Aylett.

Upon completion of the workshop, participants will have the ability to:

  • Describe and apply the RP-32 methodology
    •       Perform objective, repeatable system measurements
    •       Verify performance against RP-22 parameters
    •       Document and communicate results clearly.

The workshop is available to purchase for €455 for CEDIA members and €640 for non-members. Secure your place and book now.
