Installation has launched the first part of its new annual Pro AV Technology Outlook report, with the Corporate section now free to download here. Covering the latest insights on the challenges, opportunities, and drivers of change in the world of professional AV, the new annual report curates expert commentary from across the AV community on the state of audiovisual technology/systems adoption and deployment across the major industry verticals, and the trends and technologies that are driving innovation. And in a year like few others before it, the 2021 iteration of the report features extensive commentary throughout all sections on the ongoing impact of pandemic conditions.
The special report, brought to the market in association with premium partner Shure, will be released gradually over the next four weeks from today, starting with Corporate, and also contains dedicated sections covering market verticals in Education, Retail and Hospitality, Residential and a special focus on Audio installations. The full report will be released at the end of May and will include extra introductory insight from the report’s intelligence partners. The Corporate section is brought to market in association with PPDS.
Installation Editor-in-Chief James McKeown had this to say about the new Outlook report: “These pages are filled with some of the sharpest insight on the technologies and trends shaping the direction of travel for our industry both now and into the future.
“Set against a quite remarkable backdrop of global disruption brought on by the coronavirus pandemic, the analysis and perspective we’ve curated from around the AV market sets out the challenges and crises caused by lockdown conditions throughout the market verticals we serve and, wonderfully, how those monumental obstacles have been, and are being, overcome.”
Contributors to the report include intelligence partner Futuresource Consulting with exclusive additional insight from AVIXA, PwC, the Alliance for IP Media Solutions (AIMS), CEDIA, Mersive Technologies, Crestron, HTNG, the University of Hertfordshire, PowerHouse Alliance, CDEC, and many more.
