WAVE announces names of mentees and mentors for new one-to-one programme

New mentoring programme for women working in the AV industry to provide dedicated one-to-one support, driving diversity and elevating careers

Women in AV has revealed the names of its mentees and mentors for the first mentoring scheme for women in the AV industry.

Launched in July 2018 at London 1 Wimpole Street, the new programme has been created to help support women working in the AV industry on both a collective and individual basis to help them achieve their career ambitions and to become role models for other aspiring generations of women to choose a career in AV.

Those on the programme, which is free to join and backed by AVTE, will see experienced leaders from the industry guide 19 women at varying levels of seniority, offering their expertise, knowledge and support. There will also be regular group meetings and events.

The six-month programme has three main strands: a monthly session with a mentor; a monthly meet up with fellow mentees where they present on their part of the AV sector and thirdly additional networking events and workshops with guest speakers.
