Harman to host product Open Days at Adlib Solutions

Products from AKG, Crown, JBL, Soundcraft and BSS will be on display with HARMAN experts on hand to answer any questions.The event runs on both the 26 and 27 September and is free to attend.

Harman and UK distributor Sound Technology have released dates for the pro audio manufacturer’s Open Days at Adlib Solutions in Liverpool, to be held on 26 and 27 September 2012. Each day is set to comprise a seminar programme and product demonstrations featuring the latest product and system from Harman brands Soundcraft, JBL Pro, Crown, AKG and BSS. Participants will also have the opportinutiy to get hands on with Soundcraft’s latest hybrid console, the Si Performer, which features with DMX lighting control integration. 
 Targeted at venue technical mangers, installers, rental companies and those involved in installations for theatre, house of worship and education sectors, the events are designed to be educational and informative whilst showcasing the latest technology from the Harman Professional group.
 The seminar programme includes HiQnet Audio Architect system design presented by Justin Hankey of BSS, Soundcraft Vi and Si digital console overviews and demos by Adlib’s own Dave Kay, and Back To Basics – a tips and tricks seminar from Adlib’s leading engineers including system set-up and time alignment, mixing techniques and setting up monitor systems.
 On listening test, presented by Gert Sanner (Harman’s European Tour Sound Manager and FOH engineer for Deep Purple), will be a number of speaker systems from JBL Professional powered by Crown I-Tech HD amps and controlled by the new HiQnet Performance Manager software.

This includes the new VTX Series, flagship next-generation line array, and VT4886/4883 sub-compact line array, a high performance compact array for installed and touring applications. Also on listening test will be the CBT Constant Beamwidth Technology passive line array columns for applications such as churches and transport where highly directional controlled audio is required.
