Crestron trade-in programme makes transition to digital more affordable

It seems inevitable that analog technology will soon become history. Crestron is hoping to speed its demise with a new trade-in program.

Crestron has announced a new trade-in programme which the company says makes it easy and affordable to upgrade to digital for a seamless transition beyond the analogue sunset.

Crestron is offering up to 100% trade-in value for analogue equipment for a cost effective solution and entry into the world of digital. Current analogue switchers can, says Crestron, easily be replaced by switching to Crestron’s DigitalMedia range which requires no new wires or terminations.

According to the company, the Crestron upgrade programme has been hugely popular so far and, given the tremendous response, Crestron is expanding the trade-in program to include all analogue distribution systems, including non-Crestron products.

“Digital technologies represent the future of the AV, controls and automation industry and Crestron is working at the forefront of this field,” said Robin van Meeuwen, VP of Sales and Marketing at Crestron International (pictured). “Upgrading equipment can be a frustrating process for our customers so we are trying to ease this with our new trade-in programme and welcome everyone to take advantage of it and enjoy the future-proof benefits of the Crestron DigitalMedia range.”

Those interested in entering the trade-in programme are asked to submit their current analogue design to Crestron’s Sales Support Services team who will update the system design using DigitalMedia solutions. Once a new digital setup has been designed, Creston will provide a list of materials that defines what to order to complete the full upgrade process.

Crestron says that it is offering up to 100% trade in value for analogue equipment – whether it’s Crestron’s PVID, QM or IM products, or any other manufacturers’ products. The Sales Support Service teams will be able to show the normal pricing and the trade-in price so that the saving will be clearly visible.
