Badger, Storey join Crestron

Crestron is strengthening its approach to the commercial market with the appointment of a business development manager and a sales manager.

Crestron has appointed Helen Badger (pictured) as Commercial Business Development Manager. The company has also appointed Craig Storey as Commercial Sales Manager.

“The Commercial market is a significant part of Crestron’s activities,” said Phil Breitschadel, UK Sales Manager at Crestron. “It is important for us to maintain our involvement in this sector and continue to grow and develop it, which is why I am really looking forward to Helen joining the Crestron team. Helen’s new role as Commercial Business Development Manager will ensure that we continue to advance in this area and with her past experience and knowledge of the AV industry, it will put her in good stead to meet our commercial business objectives.”

“We are looking forward to Craig joining us at Crestron,” continued Breitschadel. “It is an exciting time for the commercial team, with the appointment of Helen and Craig. With Craig’s experience and knowledge he will be a great asset to the team in helping to grow and support it. Craig’s technical background will hold him in great stead when working on specifying for projects, and will mean that he can provide a good level of service throughout the project life.”

Badger has extensive experience in the AV industry, having previously worked for resellers (Reflex), distribution (Maverick) and manufacturers (Acer, Promethean, Mitsubishi).

Storey has worked in the AV industry for over six years. Before joining Crestron, Craig worked as project manager at Impact and previous to that with Focus 21.

Both will be based at Crestron’s Cobham office. Located in Surrey, the space is soon to have a new ‘Design and Experience Centre’ installed, that will feature the latest DigitalMedia solutions, Fusion energy management software, the latest mobile and single-gang control interfaces.

Plans for the site also include regular CEDIA accredited training courses, interdisciplinary workshops, networking events, dedicated consultant summits and, later this summer, the Crestron Residential Integration Awards presentation.
