avsnet has been awarded Polycom’s RealPresence Implementation Services Specialisation (RPIS), one of the company’s most advanced partner certifications. This follows on from the Polycom Platinum partner status avsnet recently received.
Graham Fry, managing director of avsnet commented: “Becoming Polycom RPIS certified is another significant achievement for us. We have invested considerable financial, technical and employee resources to strengthen our services and ensure our engineers have the necessary qualifications to achieve this. We are excited for what this enables us to deliver on behalf of our customers.”
In order to achieve this certification, avsnet’s team was required to meet a number of strict criteria, complete technical training and pass a number of formal assessments before being independently audited by Polycom.
This recognition enables the company to be less reliant on Polycom during the end-user process. Other benefits include faster deployments, comprehensive project management without having to involve Polycom and long-term support and maintenance to customers.

avsnet is one of very few Polycom partners in the UK to be RPIS certified with only a small number of certified engineers globally. The company is also a Polycom Platinum Partner and holds many accreditations and specialisations including Polycom Video Content Management and Polycom RealPresence Services Specialist.
