Featuring on the AVerMedia stand at ISE will be the AVerCaster Combo. According to the company, it can stream live TV and video to an unlimited number of users via LAN, making it a more cost-effective solution for small and medium-sized enterprises than a traditional coax- or aerial-based TV/video distribution system.
Capable of distributing HD digital TV, analogue TV and a range of video content, it can support a range of client devices such as Windows, Mac and Linux computers, IP-STBs, kiosks, digital signage deployments and hospital infotainment devices. It is equipped with what AVerMedia describes as an intuitive web-based content control interface.
Each AVerCaster Combo unit can be configured to broadcast two different TV/video sources. At a weight of less than 1kg and measuring just 230mm x 124mm x 42mm, it is also portable, giving users a high degree of flexibility in deployment.
