Alcorn McBride, makers of show control and AV equipment for themed entertainment, has signed Electori as its exclusive distributor in Japan.
Since its founding in 1964, Electori has been importing, selling and supporting professional sound equipment, consumer audio products and AV digital information equipment. The company, whose president is Takafumi Hirakawa, is well known in the theme park sector, a strong market for Alcorn McBride products.
“We were looking for a partner with a dedicated and educated sales force to build sales and support for Alcorn McBride in the Japanese market. Electori’s management group is very knowledgeable about our industry, and we feel they will be a great long-term distribution partner for us,” said Alcorn McBride Sales Manager Larry Howard.
“In addition, due to the sophistication level of our products, we were very happy to learn that Electori has a great technical staff inhouse. High-level support is very important to providing dealers with the expertise that will help them with their projects from the design phase through operation of the installation.”
