Insight launches new AI-based collaboration platform to improve employee engagement

New communications and collaboration platform, Insight Digital Workspace, claims to help drive productivity and employee engagement through AI technology

Insight EMEA, a division of Insight, a Fortune 500-ranked global provider of Intelligent Technology Solutions, today announced the launch of Insight Digital Workspace.

Powered by Microsoft’s Office 365, the Insight Digital Workspace is designed to provide employees with their own personalised engagement platform which brings together corporate news and updates while providing quick and easy access to their day-to-day tasks. The platform also aggregates third-party applications while providing visibility of upcoming meetings via Outlook as well as real-time Microsoft Teams updates – all customised to the user based on contextually aware AI technology.

Developed as part of Insight’s Connected Workforce solution area to support a mobile workforce, the Insight Digital Workspace is available on desktops and smart devices accessible wherever employees may be working from.

Built-in analytics capabilities help monitor employee workflows and application usage, giving IT managers valuable insights to inform resource allocation and support strategic investment decisions. The tool also provides employee engagement metrics for the HR Team as well as the ability to measure the effectiveness of internal communication, an imperative for marketing and communications managers.

“The Insight Digital Workspace offers a personalised digital experience that intelligently unifies the workplace. It is built on a set of rich and secure collaboration tools that we know and trust from Office 365. It truly provides a solution that delivers centralised and device aware access to relevant news, information, applications, tasks and more. It is another great example of how our partners creatively work every day to make our Microsoft vision a reality”, commented Bertrand Launay, general manager commercial business at Microsoft, Western Europe.

Wolfgang Ebermann, president Insight EMEA commented: “Businesses in every industry are going through digital disruption, and we know that employees today work differently as well. From our own experience of using this product in the past few months, we’ve experienced how engaging employees in a single platform can help drive their personal productivity. By connecting our workforce in this manner, we’ve created an exceptional and productive employee experience. The added benefit of enabling IT departments to analyse usage and make smarter investment decisions will help organisations take another leap forward in their digital transformation journey.”
