ISE 2017: Bose reveals suite of audio products

Bose is launching and demoing the ShowMatch DeltaQ array loudspeakers and three new Powershare amplifiers at ISE 2017, as well as entering the audio conferencing space with the release of the ControlSpace EX.

The ShowMatch DeltaQ array loudspeakers are designed for both installed and portable applications, and the company claims the speakers’ field-changeable waveguides help provide the ‘best possible sound quality’ throughout the audience area.

DeltaQ array technology is said to improve sound and vocal clarity by providing selectable coverage patterns that direct more sound energy to the audience by allowing directivity, or ‘Q’, to vary with each array module.

In addition, PowerShare adaptable power amplifiers are being demonstrated, in the shape of three 600W models that allow asymmetrical power sharing across all outputs.

ControlSpace EX, the company’s first audio conferencing offering includes the EX-1280C conferencing processor and three under-table Dante endpoints for streamlined integration. The new solution is said to simplify design and installation for large meeting rooms by offering direct Dante microphone connectivity, analogue-to-Dante mic conversion, all common audio conferencing interfaces (VoIP, PSTN, USB and analogue), and time-saving algorithms.
