ONELAN increases sales, profits

Digital signage company ONELAN has announced an increase in sales of 34% and growth in underlying profits of 155%.

Anyone doubting the vibrancy of the digital signage market and its continued growth need look no further than ONELAN’s recent announcement, which saw the company post an increase in sales of over 34% in 2010, to a turnover of £3.84m, and growth in profits of 155% (before costs in connection with purchase of own building). This represents continued profitable growth for the sixth consecutive year, according to the company, led by export sales up by 104% on 2009.

ONELAN has bought the whole building (pictured) in which their original offices are situated to accommodate the company’s further planned expansion.

“We are very pleased with this growth,” said Helen Dodd, ONELAN’s finance director. “Considering the economic climate, this is an excellent result.”

ONELAN develops network appliances for standalone and end-to-end digital signage network solutions. The Net-Top-Box is a mul¬timedia, multi-zoned solution capable of touch interactivity. With a browser-based user inter¬face, the system is fully multi-lingual and capable of dis¬playing both stored media and live media such as RSS feeds, webpages and broadcast TV or locally streamed video. Further mem¬bers of the product family cater for enterprise network management and integration with external data sources.

ONELAN’s NTBs are now installed in a wide variety of organisations such as retail, schools, hospitals, and government buildings, as well as some well-known corporates such as Vodafone, Virgin Holidays and TalkTalk.
