Crestron BIIDs for enhanced home integration

Crestron has announced a partnership with the British Institute of Interior Design (BIID) which will see the company offer technological support to its members.

Crestron will play its part in bridging the gap between technology and interior design after becoming a partner of the British Institute of Interior Design (BIID). BIID encourages and supports creativity and competence in the field of interior design through facilitating best practice, practical professional support, development opportunities and education. Crestron, which is set to open a second Design and Experience Centre in Cobham on the 13 June, will work closely with BIID members to assist in marrying technology and interior design. “There is an increased demand for technology within residential schemes,” says Petra van Meeuwen (pictured), marketing manager at Crestron.

“It is important interior designers understand how technology fits together and can be made to look beautiful. We want to demystify technology, interior designers shouldn’t be afraid of it, if they embrace it, it could enhance their projects so much.” www.crestron.eu
