Xtreme weather no concern for new outdoor display from Peerless

Now available in the EMEA, the display can cope with temperatures of below -35°C and as high as 60°C

Peerless-AV has announced the availability of its new Xtreme High Bright Outdoor Display in EMEA.

The new display, available in 43″, 49″ and 55″ size variants (65” coming soon), features a patented ‘Dynamic Thermal Transfer’ system that allows the display to operate in extreme temperatures ranging from -35°C to 60°C.

Features include 2500 nits of brightness ensures reliable performance in high ambient lighting conditions, without compromising the life of the panel or its colour accuracy, remote and local monitoring functionality, an IR control lockout and button board lockout for secure installations, and an updated input compartment and cord cover.

An optical bonding element improves direct sunlight readability and contrast, and a quarter wave plate polariser allows for landscape or portrait orientation for a flexible install. A completely sealed IP68 encasement wards off any liquid or solid particle ingress. It also comes with the highest environmental rating in its class, the widest operating temperature range, a high TNI panel and IK10 rated impact resistant cover glass for protection against damage.

“Following the US launch at InfoComm Las Vegas, we are excited to announce the availability of the new Xtreme High Bright Outdoor Display to customers throughout EMEA,” said Keith Dutch, Managing Director – EMEA, Peerless-AV. “Our experience in outdoor is unmatched and our range of solutions for this market, from IP68 rated displays and corrosion resistant mounts to fully-integrated kiosk solutions, means we are a one-stop-shop for any professional AV end user’s outdoor needs.”
