Podia expands into Europe with new German division

Provider of high-performance workspaces rides the hybrid working pandemic wave

Podia, provider of high-performance workspaces, has announced investment in Germany to support and accelerate its growth in Europe. The expansion comes following the success in the UK and as the ongoing global pandemic fuels unprecedented demand for Podia remote and hybrid working solutions in the region.

Podia Germany, the new GmbH entity, will be led by Lars Purschke (pictured) who has joined as chief executive officer and co-founder for the German region. Purschke possesses more than 15 years’ international management experience and has a strong IT background.

Podia Germany will deliver the same high performance as-a-service offering to customers using the same core technology platform and offer a wide portfolio of technology, furniture and wellbeing content which covers home working solutions, meeting room solutions and office solutions.

Commenting on the expansion, Andy Pearce, CEO of Podia, said: “As Germany, like the UK, emerges from work-from-home mandates, many German businesses have decided to continue operating a hybrid working model. Podia Germany is an ideal partner to help organisations and individuals successfully deploy hybrid working.”

Purschke added: “I am thrilled to be involved in such an exciting company and high growth sector. The opportunity to help businesses and individuals professionalise remote and hybrid working is immense and by leveraging the work the Podia UK team have done, we can go-to-market quickly to meet the needs of German businesses.”

Podia has already opened its new office in Hamburg and started recruiting a team in Germany. The company is hiring across sales, customer success, and marketing. For more information about Podia Germany and careers, visit https://www.podia.de
