Proel will launch the AX800A compact line array system at next month's Prolight + Sound. The AX800A features two 8in low frequency drivers and a 1.4in high frequency compression driver in a lightweight moulded polypropylene enclosure.
It is designed for both event applications and permanent installs, particularly theatres, houses of worship, music venues and sports facilities.
The Class D amplifier is optimised to deliver 900W to both LF drivers and 200W to the compression driver in this configuration, and can be used in many other powered Axiom loudspeaker products.
The AX800A delivers 132dB maximum SPL, with a frequency range of 85Hz to 16.8kHz over a horizontal coverage angle of 110°, and is designed to partner with the matching dual 18in powered SW1800A (pictured) in both portable and permanently installed applications. Both products are networkable using Proel's proprietary PRONET software, which enables editing and remote monitoring of a range of operating parameters such as levels, EQ, delay, and compression from a single remote location.
Proel will also exhibit its AX2010 medium scale line array and complementary high output SW36XFA dual 18in subwoofer, the AX2065 compact line array, and products from the ED series of point source passive loudspeakers.
