PL+S 2017: CODA Audio unveils Arrayable Point Source System

CODA Audio launched its new three-way Arrayable Point Source System (APS) this week in Frankfurt.

Combining the user-friendliness of a point source with the array-ability of a line array, according to the company APS is a revolutionary approach to reinforcement systems for medium-sized applications.

APS addresses the limitations of traditional point source systems by offering flexibility and performance standards. The truth is that in many medium sized applications, point source solutions cannot provide enough sound pressure while a line array might be over-sized and expensive, says CODA Audio.

The main element of the system is the 2x 10in three-way arrayable APS loudspeaker and completing the picture is the APS-SUB an 18in high output compact subwoofer. Driven by CODA LINUS amplification, both APS and APS-SUB are easily ground-stacked or flown.

Prolight + Sound also saw CODA introduce its new T-RACK amplification products. Each T-RACK comprises 3x LINUS14 – a four-channel DSP, network, comparator and amplifier.
