Optoma has expanded its range of DLP home cinema projectors with the introduction of the new 2000-lumen HD25 3D projector.
The new projector, which incorporates latest DLP technology, was launched by the company at the Sound and Vision show in Bristol.
Features include full HD display of 1080p to deliver life-size immersive 3D visuals. It has a 20,000:1 contrast ratio.
What's more, new Dynamic Black technology automatically adjusts lamp output on the HD25, ensuring deeper blacks for enhanced shadow detail in dark scenes, while bright scenes are said to be crisp and clear.
The HD25 is suitable for gaming applications, sports viewing and home cinema environments, with direct support for Blu-ray 3D players and 3D broadcast signals through multiple connectivity options, including HDMI, VGA, component and 3D-Sync Out (3-Pin VESA).
The device is equipped with a built in speaker system, and can project up to a 300in image to create an extra-large screen.
Other features include 24p operation, BrilliantColor multi-colour processing technology and a five-year colour guarantee.
