Regional German network A.TV has marked its 20th anniversary with a new studio fitted with multiple eyevis displays. In operation since 1994, the network covers local and regional news from Augsburg and the surrounding area.
The new multifunctional studio, with enough space for multiple sets, specifically chose to use eyevis EYE-LCD-460-M-USN-LD-BC displays. In two of the sets, two eyevis-LCDs have been integrated in a 1×2 configuration. They display graphics, static images and also live recordings of programmes.
“The displays enable a simpler adjustment of the set design to the different shows that are produced in the studio”, explained Caspar Amster, set designer at Mediadesign Amster from Hennef, who created the studio design. Schiffer und Farber, a set construction company from Hürth, installed the design under the direction of the RT1.tv production company.
