The latest addition to Dynacord’s D-Lite series, the D 8A incorporates a DND8200-8 neodymium bass/mid-range driver, an Electro-Voice DH3 high-frequency unit, plus a constant directivity, symmetrically radiating horn offering a 90° x 90° (nominal) coverage pattern and featuring CAD-optimised integration into the baffle.
The active design incorporates 2 x 400W Class D amplifier, electronic crossover and EQ circuitry. The D 8A is said to be suitable for a wide variety of applications, but particularly in 3-way, high-powered systems in combination with active subwoofers.
According to Dynacord, the D 8A delivers “outstanding performance” at very high sound pressure levels and a sonic image characterised by low distortion and a high degree of intelligibility.
