Maverick AV Solutions has announced the appointment of Joan Aixa as it’s new European smart signage director. The company said that Aixa has been pivotal in the development of Maverick’s brand portfolio across Europe and within this new role he will lead Maverick’s continent-wide focus on smart signage.
Aixa is based in Barcelona and has been part of Tech Data since 2006 before moving to Maverick AV Solutions in 2009. He has led the Iberian AV specialist division since 2011. Part of Aixa’a new remit will be to help integrators to converge hardware and software solutions with cloud IoT and analytics.
Joel Chimoindes, vice president of Maverick AV Solutions Europe said, “Smart signage is a core pillar of Maverick’s strategy and we are at a pivotal time in the market. There is no-one better equipped to lead this than Joan. We are seeing an explosion in corporate communications as businesses are making workspaces safer and simpler.
