Christie helps rebrand art school

A stack of six Christie projectors delivered a 440 square metre image as part of celebrations to mark the rebranding of Batley School of Art in the UK.

Manchester-based A to V recently supplied six Christie M Series projectors, stacked three wide and two high, to create the 31.5 metre x 14 metre visual element of a 4D projection onto the Wheelwright Building, Kirklees College, marking the rebranding of the Batley School of Art.

A to V’s Mark Whitehead advised on process, content ratios and resolution, whilst all content – celebrating the history of the School of Art, which dates back to 1853 – was supplied by final year photography student, David Black.
