Vision unveils ‘open architecture’ 4K Digital Signage Kiosk

The open architecture of the Vision 55in Digital Signage Kiosk provides resellers with the flexibility to deploy a choice of media players, computing devices, or CMS

Vision has introduced the Vision 55in Digital Signage Kiosk, which is designed with open architecture for flexible digital signage deployments.

Vision says that unlike traditional bespoke kiosks that are limited to a built-in media player, or demand significant customisation, Vision’s Digital Signage Kiosk’s open architecture provides resellers with the flexibility to deploy a choice of media players, computing devices, or CMS.

With versatile connectivity options, including HDMI and USB, the kiosk supports integration with existing AV infrastructures.

Stuart Lockhart, managing director of Vision, said: “Kiosks are a huge growth area for integrators, where wayfinding can be replaced by digital displays to increase sustainability within businesses. We recognised a gap in the market for a kiosk which can be configured to sit within any existing digital signage network, so it can be remotely updatable within the wider CMS platform. This is an important point to enable rapid changes to wayfinding, branding opportunities and menu updates, whether there’s one on the network or a huge estate across multiple locations.”

He added: “The DSD-55 redefines digital signage kiosks by offering a premium, modern design while giving integrators total freedom to choose their preferred media player or signage system. It’s flexible, easy to deploy, and built to be robust for high footfall areas.”

Providing customers with easy install options, the Kiosk is now available through TD SYNNEX and TD SYNNEX Maverick throughout Europe.
