SiliconCore and BrightLogic demonstrate touch-enabled LED floors

Partnership combines SiliconCore’s RGB+1 driver technology with BrightLogic’s TouchController PRO to deliver multi-touch interaction across large-format fine pixel pitch LED floor installations

SiliconCore and BrightLogic have demonstrated native touch interaction on fine pixel pitch LED displays, showcasing a new approach to large-scale interactive LED environments. The demonstration featured a 2.6mm pixel pitch LED display with embedded infrared driving interaction across a 1.2mm fine pixel pitch LED floor canvas.

The solution, shown at InfoComm 2026, combines SiliconCore’s RGB+1 driver technology with BrightLogic’s TouchController PRO platform, delivering multi-touch interaction across large LED floor canvases in a bezel-free configuration. The system demonstrated response times of 16ms, with support for unlimited simultaneous touch points across display canvases up to 32K wide.

The technology is aimed at experience centres, corporate environments, simulation spaces, command and control facilities and entertainment venues where large-format visualisation and interaction are converging. The introduction of SiliconCore’s 2.6mm XR/IR product complements its existing 1.2mm and 1.9mm XR product line.

Eric Li, CEO of SiliconCore, said: “Along with BrightLogic, we are architecting a more integrated and responsive way to engage interactive dvLED environments. Our RGB+1 driver chip technology is paving the way of innovation for the next generation of dvLED to create active interfaces by integrating IR, opening up new avenues of responsiveness and modularity for the touch market. The response from visitors at InfoComm confirmed the growing demand for interactive experiences delivered at increasingly higher resolutions.”

John Scarpa, president and CEO of BrightLogic, added: “Large-format interactive environments present unique challenges in terms of responsiveness, scalability and user experience. By combining TouchController PRO with SiliconCore’s LED technologies, we demonstrated how touch interaction can be extended across expansive LED canvases while maintaining the speed and accuracy required for demanding interactive applications.”
