Samsung has launched The Wall MPF series, marking what the company says is a pivotal expansion to its chip on board (CoB) lineup. The manufacturer says the large-format LED display optimises viewing experiences across corporate office spaces, lobbies, waiting rooms, command centres and luxury homes.
The Wall MPF series is designed to offer enhanced brightness at 1,000 nits and over 1.6 times super black depth. Black Seal Technology+ is designed to give the MPF series a higher contrast ratio of 43,000:1, which the company says enables its purest black levels to reveal new depth in detail.
The display’s picture quality has obtained certifications from Pantone and TUV Rheinland Eye Comfort, which Samsung says validate both the accurate expression of 2,140 colours, including 110 newly added skin tone shades, and the reduction of harmful blue lights designed to help ease eye strain.
Configured with the NQM AI Gen2 processor, The Wall MPF series automatically analyses and enhances frames of all sizes. The company says AI upscaling transforms lower resolution content to up to 8K resolution, while simultaneously amplifying image contrast and eliminating noise.
The MPF series is a one-frame structure, reducing the cabinet depth by 35 percent and weight by 18 percent. Samsung says modules can now be easily removed for maintenance and replaced directly from the screen, reducing repair wait times.
Jonathan Del Rosario, head of product, display division, Samsung Electronics America, said: “The Wall has set the bar for larger-than-life visual experiences, and the latest MPF series builds on that legacy. This series is a standout in the market, delivering enhanced brightness at 1,000nits, more immersive visuals with AI upscaling and simplified installation. With The Wall MPF, Samsung is further empowering businesses to create captivating spaces that inform, inspire and strengthen connections with their audiences.”
