Jetbuilt introduces AI tool to automate AV designs

Developer of AV project sales and management software releases Jetbot Drawings feature designed to create detailed blueprints in seconds to save time for integrators

Jetbuilt, a developer of AV project sales and management software, has unveiled Jetbot Drawings – an AI-driven feature designed to generate detailed system schematics within seconds. The new tool is powered by Jetbuilt’s proprietary AI engine, Jetbot.

Jetbuilt says that by leveraging the project’s existing bill of materials and scope of work, Jetbot Drawings automatically produces schematics that represent connections as an engineer would design them, complete with customised line styles, colours, and wire numbering. This automation is designed to reduce what once took hours or days to mere seconds, saving integrators valuable engineering resources.

The company says that users maintain full control, with the ability to manually adjust connections, add components, and reposition devices as needed. A natural language “Modify” function lets designers request changes – from simple port swaps to complete reconfigurations – all within the Jetbuilt platform.

Jetbot Drawings also supports export in DWG format, facilitating integration with CAD software such as AutoCAD and Vectorworks.

Paul Dexter, chief executive officer and founder of Jetbuilt, said: “Audiovisual designers value the creativity and problem solving nature of their work, and we believe AI should support, not replace, that creativity. We’ve designed Jetbot Drawings, like other Jetbuilt features, to take on the most time-consuming and complex parts of the workflow. By addressing these core pain points, Jetbuilt streamlines the processes professionals find most tedious, so projects move faster and smoother across every phase.”
