AV Stumpfl has launched an online screen configurator covering six of the company’s screen families – MONOBLOX, MONOCLIP, MONOLYTE, VARIO, VARIOCLIP and FULLWHITE – available now in metric and imperial versions. The self-serve tool guides integrators and designers through parameter groups in sequence, from screen selection to transport and accessory options, building a complete specification within a single environment.
At every step, the configuration is reflected in a real-time 3D model that can be inspected from any angle, with scale reference figures for context. Users can toggle dimension labels, adjust the screen’s vertical position, and download the 3D model or a screenshot directly from the interface. A completed configuration generates a full parts list ready for submission as a quote request, with a Best Match option or direct contact with AV Stumpfl’s team available if needed.
The tool also includes an augmented reality preview – from a desktop browser, users can generate a QR code to transfer their configuration to a smartphone, placing the configured screen into a real environment via the device’s camera to assess scale and footprint before ordering. Configurations can be saved and shared with colleagues, clients or project partners at any stage of the process.
Rainer Brandstätter, head of marketing at AV Stumpfl, said: “Specifying projection screens involves more moving parts than you might think. The configurator gives integrators and designers the confidence to work through those decisions independently, with the right information at each step and a complete, accurate specification at the end of it. The AR feature is particularly significant. This lets you put the product into the room before you buy it. That can change the conversation with the end client entirely.”
The screen configurator follows the AV Stumpfl PIXERA hardware configurator introduced at ISE 2026, reflecting the company’s ongoing investment in self-serve specification tools.
