Audinate has launched Dante Preset Creator, a free online tool that enables users to configure Dante network presets without requiring access to hardware.
The tool acts as a companion to Dante Controller, Audinate’s existing free network management application. Presets created offline can be imported into Dante Controller once hardware is available, and applied to the network selectively – meaning any existing configuration changes are preserved during the process.
Laurence Crew, product manager at Audinate, said: “The ability to plan ahead without access to the equipment makes on-site setup a much smoother process. Dante Preset Creator is available now at GetDante.com. Dante Controller is available as a free download for Mac OS and PC.
