Audinate introduces updated Dante training programme

Company says 3rd edition Dante Certification Programme offers deeper IP networking content, enhanced Dante instruction, and up to 19.75 AVIXA RUs across three levels

Audinate has launched a major update to its Dante Certification Programme, introducing an all-new 3rd edition training for levels 1, 2, and 3. The revamped curriculum is designed to reflect current trends in AVoIP and professional networking, with expanded content on IP infrastructure and system design.

The free training covers key networking concepts such as IP addressing, VLANs, QoS, and multicast, as well as advanced Dante topics including AES67 and SMPTE ST 2110 integration, cloud-based production, Dante AV enhancements, and system troubleshooting.

The company says the new training is aimed at equipping AV professionals with the skills needed to design and manage modern AVoIP systems. Participants can earn AVIXA Renewal Units (RUs) across all three certification levels – 5.5 RUs for Level 1, 8 RUs for Level 2, and 6.25 RUs for Level 3. Certifications are valid for three years.

Vince Lepore, director of global training at Audinate, said: “We’re thrilled to launch the new 3rd Edition Training programme, bringing the latest insights and techniques to the AV community. This update reflects our commitment to empowering professionals with the tools they need to lead in a rapidly evolving industry. We’re also proud to offer AVIXA RUs upon certification, supporting continued professional development.”

To support the rollout, Audinate is also introducing a Certified Training Partner programme, which will enable certified trainers and centres to deliver the new curriculum both online and in person.
