ADI expands Araknis Wi-Fi 7 portfolio

New Araknis Networks 830 indoor access point adds a tri-band 4x4 Wi-Fi 7 option for residential and light commercial deployments, with OvrC cloud-based management

ADI has expanded its Araknis Wi-Fi 7 range with the launch of the Araknis Networks 830 Wi-Fi 7 Indoor Access Point, a tri-band 4×4 model for residential and light commercial environments.

The new access point is designed for deployments requiring higher device capacity and greater network performance in high-density settings. ADI says the tri-band 4×4 architecture supports more connected devices while maintaining consistent connectivity.

Nima Jamshidi, director of product management at ADI, said: “The Araknis 830 gives our customers a premium Wi-Fi 7 option for projects where performance, capacity and long-term reliability are critical. By combining a powerful tri-band 4×4 architecture with intelligent OvrC management tools, the 830 helps integrators deploy, manage and support high-performance Wi-Fi networks more efficiently while delivering an exceptional connected experience for end users.”

The Araknis 830 is managed through ADI’s OvrC cloud-based platform, which includes features such as Wi-Fi optimisation, proximity view and bridge mode. The company says these tools are designed to simplify deployment, support remote troubleshooting and provide greater visibility into network performance and connected devices.

The access point also supports operation alongside existing Araknis Wi-Fi 6 access points, allowing networks to be upgraded incrementally while continuing to use the same OvrC management platform.

Jamshidi added: “For integrators, the 830 creates new opportunities to deliver premium Wi-Fi experiences in larger and more demanding projects without adding complexity. With greater capacity and stronger performance, partners can spend less time troubleshooting networks and more time growing their business, while end users benefit from a seamless connected experience they can rely on every day.”

The Araknis Networks 830 Wi-Fi 7 Indoor Access Point is available globally and follows the earlier introduction of the Araknis 530 Wi-Fi 7 Access Point as part of the expansion of the Araknis x30 Wi-Fi 7 family.
