TIG appoints new business development manager for Iberian Peninsula

Torne will be the main interface for consultants and end-users in the region, to advise on Crestron's solutions

Technological Innovations Group (TIG) has appointed Marc Torne as its new business development manager for Spain and Portugal.

Torne will be the main interface for consultants and end-users in the region, to advise on Crestron’s solutions. He will work hard to nurture TIG’s successful relationships in Iberia to ensure customers’ needs are met. He will also be responsible for developing a strategic action plan that supports new business leads for TIG.

On Torne’s appointment, Alain Solomon, regional director for South-West Europe, commented: “Marc demonstrates a superb knowledge of the AV market in Spain and his sales, business development and project management experience means he is the ideal person to drive TIG’s business development activity in Iberia. We look forward to having him on the team.”

Torne added: “I am incredibly excited to be joining TIG’s team of experts! I’m really looking forward to working hard to help our customers achieve their digital transformations in this time of rapid change in the workplace. Crestron’s vast portfolio provides cutting-edge solutions to help end-users rapidly evolve and respond to the way people and organisations are working today.”

Torne’s arrival is the latest in a number of recent appointments for TIG, as the company continues to bolster its ranks. In recent weeks the firm has appointed Matthew Bailey as its UK regional sales manager for UC; Zach Smart as its new junior sales manager; announced a trio of appointments in Germany; and named Anoop Nair as business development manager in the Middle East.
