New residential recruit for TIG

The company has appointed Zach Smart as its new junior sales manager

TIG has expanded its residential sales team with the appointment of Zach Smart as its new junior sales manager.

Smart joins TIG from Crestron Europe, where he was responsible for customer support. In his new role, he will report to Phil Pini, head of residential sales UK, and will support the team by nurturing their account relations to grow business and ensure a seamless service.

Pini commented: “The residential market in the UK is gaining strength, which represents a superb opportunity for Crestron Home as well as some of TIG’s other brand partners. Our position is further strengthened by having Zach join the team – his impressive product knowledge of the Crestron system, his extensive network and superb ability to deliver a superior service are second to none!”

Smart added: “I’m incredibly excited to be joining the TIG team! I’m very much looking forward to working hard to deliver for our customers’ exact needs. There is such great potential here and I’m keen to help further enhance TIG’s offering as the go-to solutions provider in the residential market.”

Smart’s arrival is the latest in a number of recent appointments for TIG, as the company continues to bolster its ranks. In recent weeks the firm has appointed Matthew Bailey as its UK regional sales manager for UC; announced a trio of appointments in Germany; and named Anoop Nair as business development manager in the Middle East.
