DisplayNote appoints business development manager for MSP

Meeting room software specialist has hired Paul McNicholl to develop relationships with managed service provider partners (MSP) as it expands its channel strategy

DisplayNote has appointed Paul McNicholl as business development manager for managed service providers, as the Belfast-based software company expands its channel strategy and route to market.

McNicholl will focus on developing relationships with MSP partners and supporting adoption of DisplayNote’s software within managed service offerings. The company says his role will centre on helping partners deploy solutions across diverse customer environments while aligning with commercial and operational requirements.

Ed Morgan, CEO of DisplayNote, said: “The appointment reflects growing demand for solutions that improve collaboration experiences without requiring significant hardware investment. We’re seeing a clear shift in how organisations approach meeting spaces – increasing focus on improving the experience within existing environments, rather than replacing infrastructure outright.”

DisplayNote’s platform is designed to act as an experience layer across meeting rooms and classrooms, enabling organisations to standardise how spaces are used and managed. For MSPs, the company says this approach is designed to deliver more consistent user experiences across different rooms and locations, reduce reliance on hardware upgrades and lower support overhead through simplified workflows.

McNicholl added: “For service providers, the challenge is always balancing innovation with operational reality. Any solution has to work reliably across multiple environments and be manageable at scale. That’s where we see strong alignment with what DisplayNote offers.”
