d&b audiotechnik has appointed Christian Orcin to the position of territory manager for EMEA. The position was made effective May 1, and Orcin’s new responsibilities include overseeing all sales, support and marketing operations in the region and developing new business opportunities.
Orcin joined d&b in 2019 as general manager for Spain and Portugal and has since reinforced the company’s leadership in the Spanish mobile/rental and fixed installation markets, while also taking on the management of d&b’s Italian and French subsidiaries. He will now focus on strengthening the foundations of the EMEA subsidiary and distribution markets whilst driving growth across the broader EMEA territory.
“d&b is a great company with great products, but it’s the amazing group of people working behind the curtains that really makes this company stand apart from the field,” said Orcin. “The combination of our technologies, attention to quality and passion for doing things right is the key to our continued success and I’m looking forward to working with the larger EMEA team to fully support our customers and partners.”
Orcin will draw on his diverse background in professional audio, video and electroacoustic engineering, and his skills and leadership style are well-suited to his new role.
“Christian has done an excellent job leading our teams and developing business in our Southern Europe region ,” said Phill Coe, VP of global sales for d&b audiotechnik. “He has consistently demonstrated the ability for successfully directing our business, even during the most challenging of times. With Christian leading our EMEA division, the possibilities for growth are limitless.”
Prior to joining d&b, Orcin was VP sales and product marketing EMEA for Leyard Optoelectronic, and also held roles in visual media at EARPRO and Panasonic. He has an MBA, a degree in industrial electronic engineering and speaks Spanish, Catalan, English, French, and Italian.
