German “projection magicians” VIOSO are returning once again to ISE with a Projection Dome. Located in Hall 5 (stand 5X400), the immersive VIOSO Projection Dome, whose setup consists of a 19m dome and flying 7.6m dome, is sure to draw large audiences.
VIOSO specialises in software for multi-projector setups, which uses patented auto-alignment techniques. Among its product portfolio are:
- VIOSO Player – for displaying pre-rendered content onto any surface
- VIOSO Anyblend – for showing computer applications on any surface, this features powerful warping and soft edge blending capabilities
- VIOSO Anyblend VR&SIM – for displaying simulator applications
- VIOSO Integrate – for exporting blended and warped content to media servers and other hardware devices
VIOSO has extensive experience in dome projects, having worked on more than 200 in recent years. At ISE 2022, the Projection Dome will feature planetarium-quality projectors supplied by VIOSO’s official distributor LANG IBERIA. These will display uncompressed 4K VIOSO Domemaster content (4096 x 4096 pixels) in full colour depth.
The 19m dome is manufactured by Polidomes International, a world leader of geodesic dome architecture structures and 360° full-dome projections. The vacuum-held, spherical screen system aids the stunning presentation of immersive adventures.
