Jukka Vänskä is to take over as COO of Seloy Live, leading the manufacturer of interactive glass and its renowned Sense touch window.
Highly experienced in industrial engineering, consumer electronics, electromagnetic technology and the automotive industry, Vänskä was previously sales director for a Finnish-based manufacturer of glass/plastic emergency exit roof hatches for buses.
Said Vänskä: “During my 20 years working for various global businesses I have gained experience across various areas of responsibility, engaged with many different negotiations and dealt with diverse set of customers, all over the world.
With my experience and skills I believe that I can guide Seloy Live to a growth path that is both controlled and sustainable.”
Boasting an MSc in industrial engineering and management, Vänskä initially spent 20 years in the handheld electronics industry, providing global OEM solutions for cellphone consumer interfaces.
Seloy Live offers unique ‘Supercharged’ glass products. Intended primarily for retail, corporate and public usage, the company’s interactive portfolio embeds touch technology securely inside glass, enabling it to also function as a regular window when switched off.
The company is currently working with POS payment solution experts POSeidon Digital to create a ‘window shop’ to allow customers to continue making purchases after stores close – part of POSeidon’s Live Products technology solutions.
