What the company describes as its next generation MMA10G-HUB2 with 4K/UHD resolution support has been released by EvertzAV. The MMA10G-HUB2 is an in-room audio and video switcher that leverages Evertz MMA-10G network-based AV distribution capability.
The HUB2 makes connecting a single room to a facility easy, according to the company, and is designed for collaboration, resource sharing and connectivity.
The MMA10G-HUB2 can be ordered fully featured with up to eight video inputs and four outputs, HDMI or HDBaseT. With the addition of HDBaseT support, the HUB can, says EvertzAV, be quickly installed to interface with any HDBaseT transmit or receive device used in the space for extension from wall plates to table tops, projectors and displays.
The HUB is said to not only solve all in-room switching requirements, but, through the use of its 10G Ethernet network ports, it can also be connected to multiple rooms or the entire facility. Using Evertz network-based low latency video and audio transport technology, the HUB is designed to be the gateway to an all-new connected facility.
