ISE 2017: SiliconCore to launch Quick Connect displays

At next month’s ISE, SiliconCore is presenting its Quick Connect range of LED displays, designed for permanent and rental applications.

The range features a new truss framing system so the tiles can quickly interlock into the desired size and shape. This will be showcased through a Peony 2.6mm pixel pitch display, presented in a 3×5 tile formation equating to 1.5 x 2.5 metres and 115in diagonal measurement.

Other pixel pitches available include the Lily 5.2mm and Tulip 3.9mm. The Tulip 3.9mm will be complemented with an outdoor version capable of achieving 4,500 nit brightness. The Tulip 3.9mm Outdoor will also be demonstrated in a 3×5 tile configuration (1.5m x 2.5m and 115in diagonal). The Quick Connect product range is offered with rear access design, and a front access version, suitable for fixed installations, is also available for the full range of indoor products.

Eric Penot, COO at SiliconCore explained: “Since launching our revolutionary Common Cathode LED design we have been inundated with requests from event managers, exhibition builders and production specialists to make the benefits of fine pixel pitches available for pop up applications. We have now made that a reality while delivering high brightness, smooth video playback, low power consumption and remarkable contrast ratios, simultaneously. The reduction of heat output enhances both the lifespan of 100,000 hours, and the reliability, ideal for life on the road.”

The Peony Quick Connect has already made its event debut, going on a worldwide tour with FIA Formula E team, NextEV NIO, installed within the Pit Garages. These vary at each location but are designed to span 28 metres in length and display mission critical race information such as live video feeds, data and metric analysis and sponsor information. At the race, the SiliconCore engineers have just half a day to build the display, which is aided by the new truss framing system.
