Throughout ISE 2018, Intel is demonstrating the flexibility and adaptability provided by its Intel Unite open platform. A wireless collaboration solution for seamless content sharing, Intel Unite enables AV integrators to develop on top of it to drive added value for customers, the company says.
Intel is demonstrating the system’s extensible architecture showing how quickly new capabilities can be added to extend the meeting experience. From a PIN-less meeting join to automatically connecting to a meeting through a badge reader, the potential for AV partners is limitless, the company notes.
Lance Basler, director of global IT solutions at InterContinental Hotels Group, commented: “We have deployed Intel Unite into more than 180 meeting spaces, and it has offered easier access to the displays for our Ravinia corporate employees. The employees no longer have to worry if the cable in the room is functioning properly or if they have the correct dongles with them. We continue to see more and more utilisation thanks to the built-in telemetry the Intel Unite solution provides. We started testing Intel Unite units in our regions to enable a consistent global user experience. We are looking forward to Intel Unite integration with additional technologies we use at IHG.”
