Enhancements to a programmable remote control system, as well as drivers that offer efficient two-way programming for home automation and multimedia devices, are on show from Pro Control.
New drivers compatible with the drag-and-drop Pro Control Studio programming software include a Sonos driver, which simplifies the control and feedback of Sonos audio components for selecting songs, storing favourites and adjusting audio settings on up to 16 media players.
In addition, Pro Control drivers can now also facilitate full control and feedback with Nest thermostats and Nest Protect devices. New drivers for Anthem receivers, Sony projectors, JVC projectors, Epson projectors,
and Wirepath IP cameras are also now available.
Also being demonstrated is the combined control experience of the Pro Control ProLink.z control processor and the Pro24.z touch-screen controller.
The Pro24.z features a high-resolution 2.4in TFT LCD touch-screen display, programmable five-way joystick, and backlit hard buttons to enable intuitive operation in low light.
The ProLink.z features an integrated 2.4-GHz ZigBee antenna for bidirectional communication via the Pro24.z, as well as Ethernet and two RS-232 two-way ports for advanced control and monitoring of devices. It stores control macros and features an abundance of options to run them.
And the Pro Control’s Pro.rfz wireless range extender extends the wireless communication range between the Pro24.z remote control and ProLink.z processor throughout additional areas of a home or commercial facility.
It provides users with powerful two-way control and feedback of 2.4GHz ZigBee-supported electronics, allowing them to view song metadata, lighting and temperature levels and more on their Pro24.z remote.
