Pico Genie marks ISE debut with electroluminescent signage

A specialist in high-brightness portable LED projectors with built-in rechargeable batteries, as well as higher lumen (mains only) LED projectors, Pico Genie will mark its ISE debut with electroluminescent digital signage.

Its projector range starts with the world’s smallest 40-lumen ultra-connected pico projector and increases to a 300-lumen HD LED projector with rechargeable battery, that can create a cinema-sized 150in image from almost any device.

It also has a range of portable desktop projector screens, that it claims are some of the smallest, lightest and most durable available (in 25in, 32in, 40in, 50in and 60in versions). Up to 40in, they include a canvas bag with a shoulder strap and handles, while the 50in and 60in screens come with built-in carry handles.

Pico Genie’s electroluminescent (EL) lighting is paper-thin, customisable, energy-efficient and a flexible method of backlighting digital signage. The new models offer 50,000 hours’ usage instead of 20,000 and are brighter than previous models at 400cd/sqm.

EL benefits from energy savings compared to traditional backlit posters and signage. It is suitable for a range of applications, including retail displays, health and safety, entertainment, architecture, or safety lighting. The panels are highly customisable to almost any size, shape, colour or sequence.
