Shure, the Chicago-based audio technology manufacturer, will showcase the MXA925 Ceiling Array Microphone at InfoComm this month, introducing what the company describes as its most advanced array microphone to date, designed to deliver high-quality audio capture in challenging acoustic environments.
The MXA925 features AI-enabled IntelliMix DSP onboard, incorporating AI acoustic echo cancellation, AI denoiser and AI deverb processing. These are designed to address common meeting room challenges including loudspeaker proximity, reverberation, moving talkers and background noise. The device connects via dual RJ45 network ports and is managed remotely through ShureCloud, with ongoing firmware updates intended to improve performance over time. It is certified for Microsoft Teams and Zoom.
Alongside the new hardware, Shure has announced a firmware update – v6.9 – for its existing MXA901 Ceiling Array Microphone, adding improved voice lift support, enhanced camera tracking, additional automixer controls and a flexible automatic coverage zone.
