Techconnect2 Twist alleviates the need for bulky 5m USB extender cables and expensive twisted-pair transmitters and receivers. It runs USB up to 50m and includes both transmitter and receiver in a low-cost package.
The design uses USB power (no external powering is required) and allows the transmitter to simply clip into the faceplate to replace the normal USB module. A PCB-mounted RJ-45 socket is included on the rear of the unit and the receiver fits in standard SA4 trunking, making it easy to hide behind a whiteboard.
