UNICOL Engineering has supplied mounting systems for a major digital signage installation project at a prominent UK retail chain. The deployment featured UNICOL’s Edgeline Kiosk range, providing secure, adaptable window mounting solutions across multiple store locations with varying configurations.
The project was delivered by Pixel Inspiration, a specialist in the provision and support digital signage for retail media, following a formal tender process. The retail client required a solution that would meet the demands of a nationwide rollout across stores featuring a variety of floor types, ceiling heights, and screen mounting requirements.
“They wanted a neat, secure and relatively affordable window mounting solution that included a secure rear cover to avoid tampering,” explains Nikk Smith, sales director at Pixel Inspiration. “Since their rollout intention included several hundred stores with a variety of floor construction types, ceiling heights and display position requirements, we needed to use a solution that could be adapted to any scenario without significant change to the core product offer.”
UNICOL’s EKTC Edgeline Kiosk product range was deployed for the project, including both bolt-down and floor-to-ceiling mounting types. This versatile approach enabled Pixel Inspiration to accommodate the varied requirements of different store locations without requiring substantial modifications to the core mounting solution.
UNICOL worked directly with Samsung, the screen supplier for the project, to verify that the rear cover design would not invalidate warranty terms due to changes in airflow around the displays, showcasing UNICOL’s commitment to working collaboratively with technology partners to ensure optimal outcomes.
