Televic Conference has announced it will demonstrate a new Plixus-powered interpreter desk for professional interpreters at ISE 2015. The new desk focuses on usability and the improvement of interpreters’ working comfort.
To make it easier for the interpreter, the buttons and controls needed during interpreting are clearly separated from other functionality. A colour display provides instant visual feedback on all essential parameters and the desk can also be used for remote interpretation.
“The development goal for this new interpreter desk was clear,” said Didier Rosez, product manager at Televic Conference. “To develop the most user-friendly, standards compliant interpreter desk ever. A desk that would help interpreters do their job better, more focused yet more relaxed. Based on the user feedback we received during multiple cycles of the design process, I think we can safely say that we succeeded.”
